Join us for a half-day workshop on Adolescent Mental Health presented by the ºÃÉ«TVl CPD Office. The content was developed to meet the learning needs of all physicians and other healthcare professionals who provide medical care to adolescents.

Workshop OverviewÌý

  • Update your knowledge and skills in managing mood and anxiety disorders in teens.
  • Case-based instruction by experts in the field using a multidisciplinary approach.
  • Eligible for RAMQ reimbursement as a certified professional development activity for eligible family physicians in Quebec ().
  • Delivered in English with bilingual discussion welcome.
  • Lunch will be included.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of these presentations, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize common adolescent mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, ADHD and ASD, as well as when to refer adolescents to specialized mental health services.
  • Formulate patient-centered management plans incorporating pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions for adolescent mental health disorders.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to optimize the management of adolescent mental health.

  • Certified for up to 3.25 Mainpro+® Certified Activity credits.
  • Accredited for up to 3.25 MOC Section 1 (Group Learning Activity) credits.
  • CMQ: maximum of 3.25 Category A Recognized Hours.

After completing the Case-Reflect questionnaire, participants are also eligible to claim assessment credits:

  • CFPC: maximumÌýof 1 Mainpro+® Certified Assessment Activity credit.
  • CMQ: maximum of 1 Category B Practice Assessment Recognized Hour (évaluation de l'exercice reconnue).
