Practicum Supervision Timeline

March 1st:听Deadline for students to secure their placement and submit the Practicum Proposal (completed, approved and signed by student and supervisor).

Placements should be secured听by听March 1st. However,听we would be happy to still share your practicum/internship opportunities with our MScPH students and extend our timeline to accommodate your organization's hiring process.

- April: Begin planning the practicum by providing related documents to the student. Discuss and develop a draft of project objectives.
- May to August: Practicum Period (14-16 weeks)

3 weeks after start date:听students submit preliminary feedback form (signed by student and supervisor).

September 15th:听Deadline to submit Supervisor Practicum Evaluation form.
- Supervisors are expected to provide an evaluation of the practicum, and of the student, by mid-September at the latest (form to be provided).
- Supervisor review and approve draft "project section" of the student's Practicum Report.
