Overview

Religious Studies : This course provides an introduction to Jaina religious culture, including elements of its history, philosophy, cosmology, and monastic and lay practices. It also focuses on constructions of Jainism╎s precept of universal non-violence (ahimsa), and addresses Jaina responses to contemporary social and ethical issues.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2015-2016 academic year.
