In this lecture\, I will review some basic epidemiological models and discuss their shortcomings when it comes to modeling the spread of infectious diseases like to COVID-19. I wi ll then introduce the framework of contact network epidemiology and show h ow it can overcome many of these shortcomings. Using various case studies\ , I will show how to use this framework and illustrate what can we learn b y doing so.\n DTSTART:20220322T160000Z DTEND:20220322T170000Z LOCATION:CA\, QC SUMMARY:QLS Seminar Series - Antoine Allard URL:/qls/channels/event/qls-seminar-series-antoine-all ard-338507 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
