 \n \n\n\nAbout the Speaker:\n	George Walker Walker trained as a letterpress
  printer throughout highschool and college. With degrees from OCAD\, Brock
  University\, Ryerson and York\, he was elected to the Royal Canadian Acad
 emy of Arts for his achievements in Canadian book arts in 2002. He is curr
 ently an associate professor at the Ontario College of Art and Design Univ
 ersity\, where he has been a member of the faculty teaching book-related a
 rts since 1985. He is the graphic novel acquisitions editor for The Porcup
 ine's Quill\, an independent Canadian publishing company\, and a creative 
 director at Firefly Books. Walker is a member of the Loving Society of Let
 terpress Printers and the Binders of Infinite Love and the Canadian Bookbi
 nders and Book Artists Guild. In 1985\, he founded Columbus Street Press w
 ith his wife\, Michelle\, with whom he has two children. Bio From Wikipedi
