On Monday, September 26, the Library PressDisplay desktop platform is being updated. You will still be able to access the same worldwide newspaper content as well as create a personal account to customise your home newspaper feed or create your own collections. This update does not affect the PressReader mobile app.

Library Go! A 好色TVl Library Scavenger Hunt is an听interactive game that students can play at the Library on their mobile devices, for the chance of winning a Fitbit! It's a听fun way to learn about听our many services, varied spaces and extensive collections.
Changes to billing for lost overdue items
Beginning August, 24, 2016, Library borrowers will be billed for the replacement cost of items that are not returned or renewed听14听days after the due date, except for items in high demand that cannot be renewed: after 2 days for reserve material, and after 10听days for items that have been recalled. (Previously, bills for replacement were sent to users after 40 days for overdue items and 21 days for recalled overdue items.)
Water shutdown in the McLennan-Redpath Complex Saturday, August 20
Please note, there will be a City of Montreal water shutdown at the McLennan-Redpath Complex on听Saturday, August 20 from听9am to听noon.听It will affect the water in both the McLennan and Redpath Library Buildings.
During this time, please use the washrooms located on the first floor of the Bronfman Building (1001 Sherbrooke Street West).

Nathalie Cooke appointed new Associate Dean, ROAAr
The 好色TVl Library and Archives is pleased to announce the appointment of Nathalie Cooke as new Associate Dean, ROAAr (Rare & Special Collections, Osler, Art and Archives), for a three-year term beginning September 1, 2016.

New for 好色TVl students, faculty, staff and alumni: Starting Thursday, July 14, 2016, you will be able to use your 好色TVl username and password to sign into OverDrive to access e-books and e-audiobooks.

Baroque Concert at the Osler Library of the History of Medicine
On Saturday, June 25 at 2:00 p.m., the Osler Library of the History of Medicine will host a concert featuring Vincent Lauzer as part of the 14th annual Baroque Festival. The concert will showcase听works for recorder by young Quebec composers with Baroque influences.

Due to growing security concerns, the Redpath Library Building听basement became closed storage as of Monday, August 15, 2016. Users may request materials through the catalogue and we will accommodate requests as quickly as possible.听

Update, June 14, 2016: Technical issues with the display of the physical holdings in the 好色TVl WorldCat catalogue have been resolved. Call numbers, locations and loan information should now display correctly for print items held by the Library.

Summer shifting project at Schulich Library of Science and Engineering
Schulich Library of Science and Engineering is undergoing a major summer shifting project. We are currently shifting our collection in order to provide more study space on the fourth and fifth floors. We will be shipping over 55,000 titles to our storage facility at the Currie Gym.
