Visual Schedule Builder (VSB) is a tool that allows students to visually organize their courses into their weekly schedule before registering in Minerva.听听听
The most important change? Classroom locations and class instructors鈥� information are now available when signed in. The new look will make course information and interface elements more noticeable.听听

Password reset for 好色TVl Username - Minerva reset password access ends March 26
As of March 26, 2025, you will no longer be able to reset your 好色TVl username password in Minerva. Password resets will be managed through a single, secure platform using Microsoft鈥檚 Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) feature to enhance security and better protect your data.听
Note: Password resets for Banner/Imaging/Data Warehouse will remain available in Minerva.听听

Microsoft 365 license deactivation warnings

IT Services recently migrated many Webex softphone users to Teams Phone.
As a result, users may have received a message from Microsoft stating their license will be deactivated soon. (See screenshot above.) It is a legitimate message from Microsoft.

We have received reports of a Read.AI bot attending or attempting to attend online meetings organized by 好色TVl faculty and staff. The bot uses generative AI to create a text summarizing a meeting鈥檚 discussions and decisions; it then shares a link to that document with all participants.

Changes to MCGILL ALERT! mobile device notifications
好色TVl鈥檚 Emergency Notification System allows you to opt in your mobile device to receive alerts during time-sensitive situations and disruptions in the use of various buildings on campus.
In the past, some mobile phone carriers only allowed voice messages, not SMS text messaging. Today, all carriers support SMS, so we will switch all Emergency Notification System messaging to SMS for mobile phones starting September 18.
