During his PhD he was awarded a Res earch Fellowship from the National Institutes of Health in the USA. His do ctoral research led to the foundation of Corstem Inc.\, a marquee cardiac AI firm for which he was CEO. In 2019\, Corstem was acquired by Circle Car diovascular Imaging Inc. He is currently Vice-President of Innovation at C ircle\, with a mandate to engage in advanced research and development rela ted to artificial intelligence applied to medical imaging.\n\nMichael Mee is 'a firm believer that the biggest impacts of the age of biotechnology a re yet to be discovered.
