This multi-actor project addresses critical challenges\, including the ov eruse of hazardous pesticides\, deforestation\, and the high costs of cert ification\, which hinder smallholder farmers and businesses. By leveraging innovative solutions such as ICT-enabled traceability systems\, nature-ba sed agricultural practices\, and enhanced certification frameworks\, STAND POINT aims to align African food production with stringent EU sustainabili ty standards. Key project activities include the establishment of Living L abs in five African countries\, where stakeholders co-create and test solu tions tailored to regional agricultural systems and trade dynamics. These Living Labs focus on high-value cash crops and staple foods\, combining en vironmental monitoring\, capacity-building initiatives\, and economic mode ling to scale sustainable practices. Through robust collaboration between African and European partners\, the project delivers data-driven policy re commendations\, scalable business models\, and tools to enhance food safet y\, biodiversity conservation\, and social equity. STANDPOINT’s presentati on will highlight opportunities for collaborative research\, policy innova tion\, and practical interventions to drive the transition to resilient fo od systems. By uniting diverse expertise and fostering cross continental p artnerships\, the project sets a benchmark for sustainable agricultural de velopment and trade\, contributing to global food security and the Sustain able Development Goals.\n DTSTART:20250109T160000Z DTEND:20250109T180000Z SUMMARY:MCCHE Convergent Innovation Webinar Series with Reynold Chow URL:/desautels/channels/event/mcche-convergent-innovat ion-webinar-series-reynold-chow-362223 END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
