US public health cuts could harm Canadians

Donald Trump's second administration is raising concerns about Canadian healthcare. As the US cuts public health resources, Canadians are put at risk. âWeâre very concerned,â says Dr. Joanne Liu (MDCM'91,âŻIMHL'14, DSc'16), a Professor at the șĂÉ«TVl School of Population & Golbal Health, and a graduate of the International Masterâs of Health Leadership program at șĂÉ«TVl Desautels. âWe are neighbours, and we have a very long border. A virus wonât wait for a visa to cross it.â
